Korean speech to text — 말하면 글이 됩니다
Dictate in Korean or upload Korean audio — KakaoTalk voice messages, 회의, lectures — and get clean 한국어 text in the Chrome side panel.
Korean's trap is spacing: 띄어쓰기 changes meaning, and casual speech glues particles onto everything. Whisper AI produces naturally spaced Hangul with particles attached where they belong, and it handles both 존댓말 and 반말 in their own register. Konglish — 미팅, 스케줄, or English words said in English — lands correctly on either side of the line.
Two ways to use it
Record Korean speech, or upload Korean audio
Record your voice
Hit the mic and speak naturally — formal or casual. Copy the Hangul transcript into KakaoTalk, email, or docs.
Upload an audio file
KakaoTalk voice messages, recorded 회의, lectures — upload MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, FLAC, or OGG.
How it works
Three steps, no setup
Open the side panel
Click the extension icon on any website. No language settings needed — Korean is detected automatically.
Speak or upload
Record live or drop in a file. Audio is processed securely and deleted immediately after transcription.
Copy your Korean text
Edit the transcript in the panel, then copy it into WhatsApp, Gmail, Docs — or download it as a file.
Korean transcription questions
Is the Hangul spacing correct?
Yes — 띄어쓰기 comes out natural, with particles joined to their words. Anything you'd phrase differently is one edit away in the panel.
Can I transcribe KakaoTalk voice messages?
Yes — save the voice message as a file and upload it in the panel. Kakao exports .m4a, which uploads directly; WhatsApp notes (.ogg) too.
Does it handle 존댓말 and 반말?
Both — polite and casual speech each transcribe in their own register rather than being flattened into one style.
What about Konglish and English mixing?
Loanwords pronounced Korean-style come out in Hangul (미팅); English spoken as English stays in the Latin alphabet.
