Voice to Text is operated by an individual sole trader. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the operator of voicetotext.pro and the Voice to Text Chrome Extension. References to "you" or "your" refer to the person using the service.

Voice to Text is a Chrome extension and associated website that provides voice-to-text transcription and text formatting services. The service allows you to record audio in your browser, receive a transcription, and optionally have the text reformatted using AI.
The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, change the service, or discontinue it at any time without prior notice.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Voice to Text only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:
- Record or transcribe audio without the consent of all parties involved
- Produce or distribute illegal, harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent our rate limits or security measures
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the service or its underlying technology
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code on voicetotext.pro is owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms.
Text you produce using the service belongs to you. We make no claim over your transcriptions or formatted output.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Voice to Text is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcriptions will be perfectly accurate. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, accent, background noise, and other factors outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or inaccurate transcriptions relied upon for important decisions.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Voice to Text shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).
Third-Party Services
Voice to Text uses third-party services including OpenAI Whisper for transcription. Your use of the service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party providers.
Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the service at our discretion, including in cases of abuse or violation of these terms, without prior notice.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.
